5 Easy steps for Bidding on Barga!
If you’re looking for your next project, we are here to help! It’s easy to register for bidding with our step-by-step guide.
1.) To bid, head to the bidding site!
The bidding site is our hub for every auction! Auctions go live every second Thursday of the month, allowing you to find amazing new items all the time.
2.) Register to bid
To register for bidding, head to our registration page in the top left-hand corner of the website and fill in the easy-to-use form. Remember, you must be 18 years of age or older in order to register.
After you complete the registration process, keep an eye on your email––we will e-mail you a Username. Please use the Username you receive and the Password you chose in your registration form to log in and bid. We recommend you choose a password that has a combination of upper and lower case letters, as well as numbers and symbols.
3.) Log in and get ready to bid!
On your first log-in, we recommend changing your username in the profile settings to one that you can easily remember. Keep your username and password in a safe place so you can ensure no one gets your information.
4.) It’s time to explore.
You’re logged in and you’re ready to find the perfect item. We make it easy to browse by category so that you can find what you’re looking for and skip the stuff you’re not interested in.
5.) Found your item? Let’s bid!
Click the item you’re ready to place a bid on. The minimum bid will show the current minimum bid needed for you to join in the auction. If you’d like to know more about the item, open the “details” section. The details are where you’ll find information about where the item is located for pick-up, the condition of the item, and more!
Go ahead and place your bid! Keep an eye on your item to see if anyone outbids you so that you can place another bid––we think this is the fun part! If you’ve placed a bid, we will send out auction reminders to let you know the auction is about to close! Get in there quick to ensure you’re ready to outbid other people if necessary!
What happens when you win your auction bid?
SOLD! If you have the winning bid on any item(s), we will send you an invoice for the item. Once we process the payment, we contact the seller and send you all the details you will need to pick up your purchase. You can also arrange a courier if you choose, but that will be at your expense and separate from the auction cost.
The only thing left to do is enjoy your spoils––that’s how you BARGA!
